Ten youth from the Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church, located in Jacksonville, Fla., recently completed the Amazing Facts Amazing Adventures Bible study series. The youth, Treyvon Christopher, Andreas Taff, Senai Wilds, Sydnee Jamison-Wright, Nadia Jamison-Wright, Naya Jamison-Wright, Lauren Quashie, Lydia Hanson, JaMaine Mills-Henderson and Joshua Tramel, were baptized on August 27 as a result of the course.

During an Adventist Youth Society program the youth shared with the church how the lessons changed their lives and an Amazing Fast Fact. They also learned what their names meant in the language origin and read a Bible scripture that related to it.

"Studying with Jesus, makes my life more comfortable," says Treyvon Christopher. Nadia Jamison- Wright proclaimed her excitement about the upcoming baptism with an excited "fist pump!" Sydnee Jamision- Wright said, Getting baptized is marrying Jesus.

This was the second year the teachers taught the course, touching a total of 25 students lives assisting in making a decision for Christ. Their enthusiasm and excitement in teaching the word of God made the studies interesting and enjoyable to the young Bible students.

Andreas Taff commented Keeping the Sabbath is the right way to worship. Lauren Quashie solemnly told us what smoking does to the lungs and how we should remember our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Their instructors, Aurelia Sykes and Linden Britton met with the children each Sabbath afternoon. Their determination to learn about God, His love and care for them and developing a personal relationship with Him, shows that these young people have supportive families who encourage their learning about our Lord and Savior, said a member of Ephesus.
