The King Daughter's Chapter of the Miami Bethany SDA Church recently held their special program during the Divine Worship Service. The King Daughter's of Bethany, under the able leadership of Jean Glover, have always been very supportive of Christian Education. The caring and supportive ladies made financial scholarship presentations to Miami Union Academy and to Bethany's Pathfinder Club. Principal Regina Harris and Pathfinder Leader Rose Brown gratefully accepted the sizeable monetary scholarships.
Dr. Betsy M. Hall, Ph.D., a Pastor's wife and therapist with a mental health agency, presented a thought provoking sermon entitled, "Brave Soldiers For Christ". Everyone in attendance was uplifted and spiritually fed on this high day in Zion.
Pastor W. C. Byrd, Mrs. Jean Glover, King Daughter's members, and the Bethany’s Culinary Department labored hard to make sure everyone was physically fed, and good warm Christian fellowship was apart of a well-planned Sabbath Day's Program. |
