The Bethany SDA Church under the pastorate of Pastor W. C. Byrd, recently held their Annual Church Banquet. The members enjoyed a delightful evening of fun, fellowship, and delicious food. Dr. Sharon Lewis served as Mistress of Ceremony for the gala affair held at the Joseph Caleb Center.
Guest rapper was Mrs. Brady from the Coconut Grove Church, and everyone enjoyed her most appropriate light hearted special presentations. Many Department Heads presented special tokens of appreciation to all persons working in their respective departments during 2006. Pastor W. C. Byrd and Elder D. Choate, Personal Ministries Leader presented Awards and Pens to all members that reached their Ingathering and Message Magazine Goals.
The Church members were able to take family pictures, and a church family picture for the forthcoming Church Pictorial. This special Banquet is one that the Bethany Church Family will long remember as a special highlight on behalf of 2006, with musical renditions captivating the audience by Elder Frank Johnson and the youthful voices of the "Three Angels".
