The Miami Bethany's King Daughter's Chapter recently hosted a Tea & Hat Spring Extravaganza on the youth wing of the church. Under the able leadership of Paula Farrington, Chapter President, the event was a relaxing and classy.

All ladies and men were asked to wear a hat, and strut on the red carpet which was beautifully decorated.  Leading the models was the First Lady, Carol Byrd.  Everyone in attendance participated.

The Pastor, church family, and friends were most appreciative of  the joint working efforts of all the King Daughter's members of this local chapter of the Bethany SDA Church.

Mrs. Erica Major served as Mistress of Ceremony. The audience was delighted by the history and comedian effects of hats rendered by Erica.  Gabriel Tucker, a youth of the church, set the tone with his selections of musical renditions that were very appropriately chosen for the evening by various notable musical recording artists.

The social hour which preceded the fashions included delectable delights, and herbal teas from all countries.  Five ladies received beautiful hat boxes as door prizes.  Mr. Frank Johnson climaxed the evening with a most appropriate musical rendition, and lovely flowers were distributed to everyone in attendance.

Proceeds from this beautiful extravaganza will be donated to Miami Union Academy.   The Bethany King Daughter's Chapter annually gives a sizeable donation to Miami Union Academy to support SDA Christian Education.
